‘Smiling’: a sad, weird, neurotic comedy is a brand new play from award-winning, emerging playwright: Ben Souza (2x winner of the Ernie DiMattia Emerging Young Artist Award for playwriting). It follows Barry Adler, a struggling comedian - trapped in his own thoughts, navigating his life and relationships in New York City. ‘Smiling’ is a relevant examination of humanity and relationships, questioning where we find true happiness in life. 

We are looking for actors (18+) to take part in an exciting workshop/staged reading of the play. Rehearsals will be over the winter break and the performances will be January 10-11. Come out and audition to be a part of the world premiere of this brand new play from an emerging playwright!!
